Intro to Year-Round Gardening
Gardening, Outdoor | ||
September 20 at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm | 16+ | $25 |
Resident Farmers Brendan and Liesel try to have something to harvest every week of the year. This is possible by planting the right type of crop at the right time of year, while utilizing various season extension tools and techniques. Class participants will get to see the various materials used to keep crops alive over winter and talk about planting dates and growing techniques for various crops. Everyone will get to take home a few extra transplants to get started with season extension on their own. In case of bad weather, the class will be cancelled and participants will be moved to a future class or refunded.
