Calling all plant lovers! Learn all about the Japanese gardening technique Kokedama in this hands-on class with The Plant Room. Kokedama is the practice of covering the root ball of a plant with mud and moss to create a living vase. During the class, you’ll pick out your plant before wrapping Japanese clay and moss around the roots and securing the ball with twine. When you take your new houseplant home, you can display the moss-covered creation in a macrame hanger, a piece of driftwood or bark, or another object you find. Throughout the class, enjoy complimentary toast bites and coffee.
