Handmade Pasta
Join Finley Farms Executive Chef Kevin Korman to learn the craft of handmade pasta. During the two-hour workshop, you’ll create two types of pasta:
• Triangoli with ricotta filling and brown butter sage sauce
• Maltagliati with garden pesto sauce and pecorino
Along the way, Chef teaches basic pasta terminology and fun facts while providing recipes and techniques for traditional egg dough, pasta shaping, simple pan sauces and pesto.
At the end of the class, enjoy pasta prepared by Finley Farms Chefs before taking home the pasta and sauces you prepared throughout the class.

Kids Cooking: Sweet & Savory Hand Pies
Grab your future foodie for a hands-on, educational cooking class centered around sweet and savory hand pies. Finley Farms Executive Chef Kevin Korman guides parents and their little ones in the creation of a Nutella & Chocolate Chunk Hand Pie along with a Pepperoni Pizza Hand Pie.
Along the way, Chef educates children on basic kitchen skills including using rolling pins, kneading dough, hand washing and the importance of keeping a clean workspace.
At the end of the class, you’ll indulge in hand pies prepared by Finley Farms Chefs before taking home the sweet and savory treats you created throughout the workshop.
Registration fee covers one adult and one child.

Join 417 Home Editor-at-Large Heather Kane Kohler as she teaches you how to create beeswax wraps, a natural and reusable alternative to plastic wrap. Using beautiful pieces of cotton fabric, beeswax pastilles and jojoba oil, you’ll produce a food storage solution that is washable and compostable.

Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs
Join local artist and art teacher Angel Nahon for an afternoon of Easter egg creativity. During the class, you’ll learn about plant-based dyes and which fruits, herbs and veggies create the most vibrant colors. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to try a variety of techniques and dyes to create unique eggs.
You’ll walk away with beautifully dyed eggs that are safe to eat and ready to display for Easter Sunday.
