Join Master Mixologist and owner of The Golden Girl Rum Club for a hands-on workshop featuring garden-inspired cocktails. Rogan will introduce you to the bartender’s basic tool spread and help you navigate a simple back bar to produce something stirred, shaken, and bubbly. Techniques including syrup-making using infusion techniques with seasonal herbs, teas, fruits and vegetables, as well as education in various cocktail mixing styles and spirit history. Included in the price of the class are three cocktails.

Join Chef Kevin Korman in learning imperative cutting techniques to develop your skills in the kitchen! Chef Kevin will work alongside you to grow your confidence in slicing, dicing, and mincing. Elevate your dishes at home with the advice and training you gain in this class. Beyond the basics, we will show you how to hold and sharpen your knife and how to cut efficiently to reduce waste in your kitchen. We will end the evening cooking up what we sliced into a stew and enjoy it with homemade bread, that you can eat with us or take home.

In this class you will learn the techniques on how to achieve a beautifully balanced floral arrangement from Ozarks’ native, New York Florist, Alex Crowder. You will begin to understand the value and reasons for using foraged, local, and seasonal flowers in arranging, while experiencing the building blocks of how to create a successful centerpiece with hands-on instruction and guidance from Alex. During class, we’ll have a small foraged snack, connecting the beauty you may find in the forest, to your plate and your vessel. From this class you will take home floral arranging knowledge, the arrangement you created, and print materials for referencing this spring.

Lacy will share her tried-and-true method, demystifying the process around brewing this tangy, bubbly beverage. We will talk about all of the exciting flavor combinations that you create, beginning the exciting journey in class and taking home your first batch to ferment. Bring home your own SCOBY, and brewing supplies!

The last frost is just around the corner, which means it’s time to get prepared for your home garden! In this class you will learn the principles of seed starting: soil, water, heat, and light. We review the necessary tools for success and discuss troubleshooting. You will get to start numerous seeds to take home, including potted up transplants, and seed catalogs with extra seeds.

In this class, Baker Eleanor Taylor, will unfold her secrets on how to achieve the perfect butter pie crust and will demonstrate her process of preparing a strawberry pie. We will focus on the technical attributes of the crust making process from chilling to crimping, cutting, and layering lattice. You will begin to understand the fine details that go into making a flawless fruit pie to implement in your home kitchen. Learn the many applications of the same crust recipe for a variety of recipes from fruit to custard, or savory combinations. End the class sharing a slice of Eleanor’s strawberry pie and take home her prized recipes and a pie crust made especially by you.
