Crochet for Beginners

During this 2-hour workshop, local artisan Ashleigh Hawkins will teach guests the single crochet stitch, the only stitch needed to complete a crochet temperature blanket. This project is perfect for both beginners and experienced crocheters alike, and no prior experience is needed.

Each row of your commemorative afghan will capture the daily high temperature using a different color for each temperature range, creating a vibrant record of the year. You will leave class having recorded the temperatures from the first few days of 2025, along with a crochet hook, a skein of yarn, and a temperature chart to continue your creation at home.
