Stargazing on The Farm

Spend an evening under the stars with David from the Astronomical Society of Springfield as your guide. With years of experience and expertise, David will lead a small group through a closer look at the night sky, with plenty of time to view, learn, and ask questions along the way.

You’ll begin with some of the night sky’s most recognizable constellations before taking a closer look through the telescope. Depending on what’s visible that evening, you may spot double stars, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, planets, and more.

The evening will also include a conversation about light pollution and the dark-sky preservation efforts of Finley Farms and the City of Ozark.

Rain date: December 12.
