Stargazing at The Farmstead

Join us for an intimate evening under the stars at Finley Farms. Designed for a small group of guests, this guided astronomy experience offers a closer look at the night sky and the fascinating objects within it.

The evening begins with an introduction to some of the season’s most well-known constellations and asterisms.
Using a telescope, guests will have the opportunity to observe a variety of celestial objects, which may include double stars, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and planets, depending on the conditions that evening.

Along the way, you’ll learn about the science, history, and significance of these objects through expert guidance and discussion.
Unlike larger public star parties, this experience provides ample time to view each object, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the night sky.

As the evening unfolds, we’ll also explore the impact of light pollution and discuss the dark sky preservation efforts of Finley Farms and the City of Ozark.
