Join us in the mushroom yard to learn how to grow culinary mushrooms outdoors on logs using basic tools with Farm Manager Brendan Sinclair.
Participants will partake in the preparation of logs for growing and harvesting mushrooms, inoculating logs with shiitake mushroom spawn. By the end of this class, students will take home a shiitake log that they’ve prepared and leave with the confidence to grow mushrooms in their own backyard!
Please note that in the event of inclement weather, this class will be rescheduled to 3.15.25.
