Resident farmer and herbalist, Liesel McCleary, will discuss herbal remedies using bioregional plants to support optimal health in the spring. This class will include an introduction to herbal energetics, with a focus on cleansing and energizing herbs. Class participants will learn about common spring herbal preparations, actions and applications, and will receive recipes and resources to take home. This is the first in a series of seasonal herb classes that Liesel will be teaching throughout the year. This class will be held in the farmstead building next to the greenhouse, and herbal tea will be provided.
