
Ikebana Flower Arrangements

Utilize farm-fresh flowers and autumnal branches to create curiosity invoking floral compositions alongside Sarah Stracke of Locust Floral. Students will learn the basics of Ikebana, a Japanese floral arranging tradition that brings together nature and humanity while emphasizing form and balance. Students will utilize hand-crafted ceramic vases from Fifth Street Studio in Bentonville to build their dramatic arrangements and learn the mechanics of a flower “frog” before taking home their compositions.
