Hand Weaving 101

Join local artist Ashleigh Hawkins as she teaches the basics of the ancient art of hand weaving. In this workshop, participants will learn basic weaving methods such as the tabby weave, twining stitch, the rya knot and more all on a handmade loom. Participants will leave this class with their own custom hand-woven tapestry, handmade loom, tapestry needle and a firm grasp on weaving methods to continue their journey.
